Forklift driver/storeperson

Our client specialized technology and equipment provider looking for a reliable, self-motivated logistics professional to join our team. This role is ideal for a "self-starter" who thrives when working independently and takes pride in managing a high-value warehouse environment with precision and care.

Pay Rate: $35 – $37 per hour (depending on experience)

The Role

This position requires a seamless blend of physical operation and administrative coordination. You will be the primary person on the floor, responsible for the end-to-end warehouse process—from high-reach racking to system updates and dispatch documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Forklift Operations: Expertly operate both High-Reach and Counterbalance forklifts to move heavy and high-value equipment.

• Solo Operations: Work predominantly by yourself, managing the daily flow of the warehouse and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently without constant direction.

• Inventory & Systems: Use computer systems to respond to emails, update stock levels, and print essential dispatch and shipping documents.

• Pick & Pack: Accurately fulfill orders, ensuring high-value products are handled with extreme care and packaged securely.

• Reporting: Maintain clear communication and provide regular updates to the Operations Supervisor regarding stock levels and daily progress.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of consistent warehouse experience.

• Forklift Proficiency: At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts, specifically with high-reach and pallet handling.

• License: Must hold a valid LF Forklift License.

• Computer Literacy: Comfortable handling basic office tasks, including email correspondence and digital inventory tracking systems.

• Independence: Proven ability to manage a workload solo while maintaining high safety and organizational standards.

• Attention to Detail: Experience handling high-value or heavy products where accuracy is critical.
